Yash's story sits where three worlds meet: cricket, engineering and entrepreneurship.

Born and raised in Singapore, he picked up a bat at 11 and grew up in the game at Tanjong Katong Primary and Victoria School, where he captained the school team, before moving on to Victoria Junior College. He went on to represent Singapore at U16 and U19 level, including the 2019 ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Qualifiers. Making his debut for Singapore is still his best moment in cricket, the payoff for years of training and commitment.

After National Service as a Section Commander and Platoon Sergeant at BMTC, he joined NUS in 2023 to study Mechanical Engineering as a Merit Scholar in NUS College. He never stepped away from the game. He coached young players as Assistant Head Coach at CricKingdom's Rohit Sharma Cricket Academy, and worked on the business side of Thunderbolts CC as its Chief Business Development Officer.

Years as a player, captain and coach showed him what cricketers need as they progress, and the challenges they face along the way. SKTB was his way of turning that experience into better equipment, apparel and support for the cricket community.

As Head of Product, Yash starts with the player. He translates what they need into SKTB's range, works with suppliers on development, sourcing and quality, and keeps every product decision tied to where the business is heading.

Keeping pace with a fast-moving industry has been the toughest part. What keeps him going is his team and the perseverance they bring every day. For Yash, building SKTB from Singapore means giving back to the community that shaped his education, his leadership and his cricket, while growing a sports brand with international reach.
