My story

Born in India and raised in Singapore, Aditya is a computer vision researcher and fast bowler who has played Premier Division cricket for the Singapore Cricket Club. A former Singapore Armed Forces combat lifeguard and long-distance runner, he is now studying AI at Northeastern University in Boston and shaping SKTB's brand.

Aditya's story sits where engineering, endurance sport and building things from scratch meet.

Born in India and raised in Singapore, he completed his O-Levels and A-Levels here, then served full-time in the Singapore Armed Forces from 2017 to 2019 as a combat lifeguard and division long-distance runner, including overseas exercises in Brunei and Seattle.

At the Singapore University of Technology and Design he studied Information Systems Technology and Design (2019–2023), served as a teaching assistant, and founded the university's cricket team, building it into a fully funded varsity club. He took up cricket at 20 and went on to bowl fast in the Premier Division and Division 1 for the Singapore Cricket Club, where he received the Spirit of Sport Award at the 16th SCC Sports Award Night in 2026.

His engineering work sits close to the game itself. At Rapsodo Sports he worked on multi-camera ball tracking, camera calibration and spin-rate detection, and he has done video-coding research with Panasonic R&D Centre Singapore.

Competing across distance running, military conditioning and fast bowling showed him how much quality gear matters to athletes. SKTB was the chance to do something about it. As co-founder, Aditya shapes the brand, from design and visual media to the events and sponsorships that put SKTB gear in athletes' hands, including Invitational Thunderbolts Day 2026 at SCC Dempsey.

Balancing graduate research with building a brand has been the toughest part. What he is proudest of is watching athletes put SKTB gear through its paces on the field, and seeing local sports communities thrive through events. In September 2026 he moved to Boston for an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence (Computer Vision) at Northeastern University, where he plays for the university cricket team and in Division 1 of the Massachusetts State Cricket League.
