The story

A Thailand international all-rounder who has played at an ICC Women's T20 World Cup, Phannita bowls right-arm fast-medium and holds best T20I figures of 5/3.

Phannita started playing cricket at the age of ten, in 2014, and built her game through training, hard work and dedication. That passion carried her into the Thailand side and onto the biggest stage in the women's game, the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup.

She has been a fixture in Thailand's international calendar ever since: the Women's Asia Cup in 2022 and 2026, ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifiers, the ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier and Emerging Nations Trophy in 2025, the 2025 SEA Games, the 2026 Asian Games, and tours of South Africa and Papua New Guinea.

With the ball she has taken 5/3 against China in a T20I and 3/16 against Papua New Guinea in an ODI. With the bat, her best scores are 43 against Ireland in an ODI and 35 against Papua New Guinea in a T20I. In 2025 she was named Player of the Match against Kuwait at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier.

Cricket in Thailand is still developing, and access to facilities, resources and playing opportunities remains a challenge. For Phannita, wearing the national jersey is a great honour, and a chance to raise the profile of women's cricket and inspire more people to take up the game.

Over the next few years she aims to become a stronger, more consistent all-rounder, test herself against top-level opposition, and inspire more young girls in Thailand to play cricket.
