The story

A Thailand international all-rounder with 46 caps and seven Player of the Match awards for his country, Austin is a natural leader who has captained the national side.

Austin's cricket began in Pune, India, playing with friends for as long as he can remember. His father saw something more in it and wanted him to play the game professionally, and that ambition has shaped Austin's path ever since.

In Thailand, cricket is still a young sport. Awareness among local Thai people is growing but limited, and regular competitive cricket is hard to come by. For Austin, that makes every international appearance count, and he has made plenty of them count.

With 46 international caps, he has been one of Thailand's most influential players, winning seven Player of the Match awards for his country and a Player of the Tournament award. He has represented Thailand at the ICC T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Qualifiers and the Asia Cup Qualifier Challengers, with a highest score of 95 and best bowling figures of 2/2.

Above all, Austin believes in leading by example, whether as a player or as captain. He says there is no single moment that stands above the rest: captaining his national team is what makes him proudest, every time he does it.
