The story

A Singapore all-rounder who opens the batting with aggression and bowls left-arm wrist spin, Arush has represented Singapore at ACC U16 and U19 level and has a career-best 107.

Arush's cricket began with a birthday present. His father bought him a plastic bat, and he was soon hitting tennis balls over long distances. He started playing properly at the age of seven and has not looked back.

Today he is an aggressive left-handed opening batter who also bowls left-arm wrist spin, a rare combination in any team. He has represented Singapore at ACC U16 and ACC U19 level.

His proudest moment so far is his century: 107 in the 2025 Balestier Premier League, which earned him Player of the Match. The runs have kept coming since. He was the second-highest run-scorer in the 2025 U19 SCA League and the leading run-scorer in the 2026 U17 Blitz Fraternity League, and he has a best season batting average of 71.75. With the ball, his best economy rate is 4.3.

He has played right across Singapore's competitive structure, from the U15 JID competition to SCA Divisions 1, 2 and 3, the Premier Division and the Independence Cup. Facilities in Singapore are limited, but the talent is real, and Arush has had to work his way back from injuries along the way.

His goal is simple: to score centuries for Singapore.
