The story

A Singapore all-rounder and one of the country's most exciting young batters. Fearless and unorthodox, Aahan was named Player of the Tournament at the 2025 ACC U19 Premier Cup in the UAE after scoring 337 runs in three matches, including two centuries.

Aahan's cricket began in a hallway. His father, a keen cricketer in his younger days, noticed how closely his son followed the game on television, and how he would mimic the actions of the bowlers he had just watched, ball after imaginary ball. By 2012 there was a bat in his hands, and he has not put it down since.

The road has not always been smooth. From a young age, his unconventional batting technique led people to write him off, and for years opportunities went to others ahead of him. Aahan answered the only way he knew how: with runs. Over the past two seasons, that weight of runs has become impossible to ignore, with a season average of 52.67 in Singapore's Division 1, a match-winning century in the decider of the Independence Cup, and a career-best 188 from just 121 balls.

His breakthrough on the international stage came at the 2025 ACC U19 Premier Cup in the UAE, where he scored 337 runs in three matches at an average above 112, including two centuries, and was named Player of the Tournament. With the ball, his right-arm off-spin adds another dimension, with best figures of 5/19.

He has built his game the hard way. Singapore has no shortage of talent, but turf pitches are rare: only four grounds have them, and most matches are played on artificial surfaces. The Padang, the country's most storied venue, is often closed for the F1 season and National Day preparations. Balancing his studies alongside, Aahan has learned to make the most of every opportunity.

The next chapter is already being written. His goals are to qualify for the ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup and the Asia Cup with Singapore's U19 side, and to establish himself as a regular, consistent run-scorer for Singapore's Men's national team.

In cricket, the only currency is runs.
